Position Overview

arenaflex is seeking a meticulous, dependable, and highly organized Remote Data Entry Clerk – Healthcare Operations Support Specialist to join our growing distributed team. In this role, you will be responsible for inputting, verifying, and maintaining critical data across multiple systems that support healthcare service delivery. Your work will ensure that the information powering patient records, provider directories, claims processing, and internal reporting remains accurate, secure, and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Input and Maintenance: Enter, update, and maintain large volumes of data into databases, spreadsheets, and internal platforms with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
  • Data Verification and Quality Control: Review source documents and electronic records to verify accuracy before committing data to production systems, identifying and correcting errors before they become problems.
  • Regular Data Audits: Perform scheduled and ad hoc audits to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, missing information, or formatting issues, and take corrective action promptly.
  • Data Cleanup and Organization Projects: Participate in initiatives to standardize, reorganize, and clean legacy data sets, ensuring long-term integrity and usability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate timely data updates, resolve discrepancies, and clarify data requirements.
  • Confidentiality and Information Security: Handle all sensitive information in accordance with arenaflex’s data privacy and security policies, including compliance with HIPAA and other applicable regulations.
  • Reporting Support: Generate basic reports, summaries, and data extracts to support operational decision-making and leadership reviews.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data entry workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve turnaround times, sharing recommendations with the team.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear records of data entry procedures, updates made, and any issues encountered to support team knowledge sharing and audit readiness.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Proven experience in a data entry, administrative, or similar role requiring high-volume keyboard input.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (formulas, sorting, filtering, basic formatting) and Word.
  • Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
