Travel Insurance Claims Examiner Currently accepting candidates that reside in the following states: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Mississippi. SureGo Administrative Services is looking for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, thoughtful, and patient. This is a permanent work from home position that includes a virtual paid training program. Currently, we are accepting applications from individuals who reside in the United States only. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • 1 -2 years of experience processing travel policy claims for trip cancellation and lost baggage • An active insurance license in the state in which they are working is desired but not required • Familiarity with navigating airline claims processes such as contacting airlines to confirm flight itinerary, confirm travelers have filed their lost baggage claims with the airline, obtain confirmation letters, etc. • Experience with the WorldTracer system and knowledge of different destination compensation for flight disruptions/delays/lost baggage • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks • Ability to work independently with minimum guidance • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail Responsibilities • Claims Examiners are responsible for timely processing and/or adjudicating travel cancellation, or lost baggage claims according to the insurance policy provisions • Ensure that all proper and necessary documentation is provided and validated at the time of claim (proper and valid receipts, proofs of purchase, calling retailers to validate receipts submitted for high ticket items, validating death certificates, attending physician statements, tour brochures, etc.) • Validate airline refunds or letters from travel providers regarding non-refundable travel arrangements • Request written verification from travelers with professionalism and knowledge-based guidance as it relates to airline credits and refunds or rescheduling a tour/trip for a later date in exchange for refund • Read and interpret travel insurance policy language and adjudicate claims accordingly • Respond to written communications from policy holders as needed with • Provide professional customer service to our internal and external customers Benefits • Monday-Friday, work from home schedule.
