Kwik Trip Inc. Our Support Center located in La Crosse WI, has an opportunity for a full time Salesforce Core Developer. In this role you will work with business partners, and the Salesforce Platform Owner to realize the full capability of the Salesforce ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing customizations, extensions, configurations, and integrations. This position works alongside a Salesforce Platform Owner and business analysts in the Information Systems team. Accordingly, you will help in highly visible Salesforce initiatives across the organization including building applications and supporting integrations with Salesforce. Regular tasks include: • Assist in the implementation process for current and upcoming Salesforce Core systems. • Support existing applications in configuration, provisioning, troubleshooting and integrations. • Implement and maintain Salesforce Core customizations such as custom fields and objects, layouts, workflows, process builder, and validation rules. • Assist with the planning of application changes, development, and installation of upgrades, new releases, and enhancements. • Work cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Credit, Commercial Sales, and other key stakeholders • Build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive important business decisions by developing in Visualforce, Apex, Java, and AJAX • Develop custom applications using Salesforce Core and integrating Salesforce Core with other systems. • Apply best practices and design patterns of best-of-breed applications developed on the Salesforce Core platform. • Create and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance test plans, including use cases and test data. • Gather, analyze and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions and production issues reported by end users. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field. • 1-3 years of experience in administration and/or development of Salesforce’s ecosystem. • Strong attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities. • In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building integrations with Salesforce ecosystem. • Experience in customization, configuration and development with JavaScript. • Experience in migrating data and customizations across Salesforce Core environments. • Knowledge of software development processes and best practices. • Apex and Visualforce development, design, configuration, testing and deployment of Salesforce Core solutions. • Knowledge of Salesforce permissions, roles, reports, dashboards, and logical formulas. • Proficiency in Salesforce declarative and programmatic development, with and understanding of Salesforce data models and security. Preferred qualifications include: • Experience in Apex, Visualforce, Workbench, MavensMate, SoupUI and/or similar tools. • Prior experience with data migration and ETL/integration tools. • Experience with Salesforce data management tools like Data Loader, and the understanding of SQL and SOQL. • Salesforce Platform Development Certification I and II. • Salesforce Certified Administrator • Salesforce Certified App Builder Location: We are looking for a talented Salesforce Developer to join our team in a hybrid role. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely, with occasional requirements to come into our La Crosse, WI office for important meetings and collaborative projects. Candidate needs to reside in our operating states: WI, MN, IA, IL, SD Work schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours with occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
