SR DevOps Engineer (Azure Cloud)

We’re seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Azure DevOps Engineer with experience supporting software delivery in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, or regulated domains. You’ll take ownership of Azure infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and environment provisioning, with a forward view toward containerization, compliance, and hybrid cloud optimization. This isn’t just support—it’s platform engineering for systems that matter.

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Automation o Design, build, and maintain Azure Pipelines for reliable, multi-stage deployments. o Implement security gates, test automation, artifact versioning, and rollback

mechanisms.

Infrastructure Management o Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines (Windows Server) and SQL

Managed Instances.

o Monitor availability, performance, and cost-efficiency of compute and data

services.

Source Control and Collaboration o Manage version control, permissions, and branching strategies in Azure Repos. o Collaborate with developers, QA, and compliance teams in a secure SDLC

process

BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.

Advanced English Level (C1) with experience working with US teams.

Professional with 8+ years of experience in IT (with previous experience as a Software Developer) and 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, managing Azure Resources using Azure Logic apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management (APIs), and Azure Data Factory for:

• Expert programming skills using C# and .NET technologies. Previous experience as a Full-stack Developer is essential.

• Expert in Azure DevOps – designing & optimizing complex CI/CD pipelines (YAML, AKS, App Services).

• Mastery in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) with compliance & automation best practices.

• Strong security integration (Azure Key Vault, SAST/DAST, compliance pipelines).

• Proven skills in monitoring, cost optimization, and troubleshooting with minimal downtime.

• Consulting-level presence: translating technical delivery into business value.

• Leadership & communication: guiding teams, influencing stakeholders, and driving strategic impact.
