Position Overview – Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (Remote)

We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to serve as the senior financial resource for our rapidly expanding online business and IT (Trade Innovation) division. In this remote, full‑time role, you will own the creation, analysis, and communication of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and a five‑year strategic plan. You will also develop tools and reports that translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. This position works closely with senior project teams and acts as a key advisor on strategic decisions that shape the future of arenaflex’s digital commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the online business and IT function, partnering with senior leaders to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Build and maintain sophisticated financial models that evaluate profitability, cost efficiencies, and investment returns for digital initiatives.
  • Performance Reporting: Design and deliver executive‑level dashboards and reports that highlight key performance indicators, trends, and variance analysis.

  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead ad‑hoc financial investigations focused on digital growth, cost optimization, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Change Management: Support the transition to a flexible operating model, helping to rebalance labor‑to‑contractor ratios and internal asset allocations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of professional finance experience within a retail or consumer‑products environment.
  • Proven track record in a finance support role for a retail‑class organization, preferably with exposure to e‑commerce or digital business units.
  • Experience working with agile operating models and technology‑enabled finance functions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly desirable.
