[Remote] Senior Vice President, Data Science & Analytics

The Senior Vice President, Data Science & Analytics will oversee all data science and analytics functions within the Financial Services & Data business, driving innovation and strategic vision while leading a team of data professionals.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement the Analytics strategy and communicate that strategy to company executives, external partners and customers
- Lead and inspire a team of data professionals who will create and develop a world class data capability
- Implement models and ML/AI to fuel new product features, improve operational quality, and create a personalized experience for Experian’s customers and partners
- Steward of data as a strategic business asset, revenue driver and source of risk mitigation for Experian
- Identify trends and evolving user behavior that may support or impede our investments, and drive innovation that leverages key technology trends
- Oversee the development of the requirements, principles, models and designs of data applications or use cases
- Evaluate emerging trends such as big/open/linked data, ML/AI, and determine the impacts on the future-state enterprise data architecture
- Partner consultatively with leaders in product management, sales, marketing, technology, and delivery to provide analytics insights that improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct research and case studies on our competitors’ analytics and other relevant leading edge trends to make determinations on the probability of their usefulness
- Contribute to the broader leadership agenda on an ongoing basis as a member of the business unit leadership team

- Able to lead several programs at once - setting priorities, collaborating cross-functionally, ensuring success metrics are informing future efforts, and quickly fine tuning the program as needed
- Excellent decision-making, presentation skills and strong influencing skills to be able to interface and articulate our technical capabilities to our clients, and leadership
- Outstanding intellectual acumen with a natural willingness to engage in constructive & transparent discussions, acting as a true thought partner to the Group President and peers
- Ability to inspire others by actively communicating and motivating all levels of employees with vision, clear execution priorities & support of BU direction
- Strategic thinker who can understand competitive context to drive positive current period results while investing for a better future
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in developing and leading business-driven data strategies and progressive management and leadership experience
- Substantial depth of knowledge in Data Technology with a detailed understanding of the technology architecture, data development lifecycle and data tools and technologies
- Experience with advanced data analytics, predictive models, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
- Experience implementing data and platform strategies to deliver transformative evolution to the business
- MBA or equivalent experience in Data Science, Analytics or other analogous fields
