[Remote] Institutional Business Development Partner

AirQuant is a quantitative research team from prestigious universities seeking Business Development Associates to establish commercial relationships with large-scale quantitative institutions. The role involves identifying and introducing AirQuant's non-arbitrage alpha signals to institutional clients, requiring experience in institutional B2B business development and a network within the quantitative ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Identify large-scale quantitative institutions with the AUM capacity and operational infrastructure to deploy external signals
- Leverage existing relationships or conduct targeted outreach to initiate introductions at the relevant decision-making level (CIO, Head of Quant Research, Portfolio Management)
- Represent AirQuant's signal offering professionally and accurately in introductory meetings
- Support commercial negotiations through to a signed signal licensing agreement
Skills
- Demonstrated experience in institutional B2B business development, with a track record of engaging quantitative funds, systematic hedge funds, or institutional buy-side firms
- An existing professional network within the quantitative or systematic trading ecosystem — connections at the CIO, Head of Research, or senior portfolio management level are strongly preferred
- Ability to credibly represent a quantitative signal product in technical conversations
